Denver’s COVID-19 Freedom Fighters Bravely Confront Dangerous, Potentially Infectious Healthcare Workers

DENVER, CO — On Sunday potentially dangerous healthcare workers wearing scrubs and masks stood with crossed arms, blocking a line of cars and trucks full of honking protesters screaming: “This is the land of the free.” “You go to work. Why can’t I go to work!” Another protestor leaned out of her vehicle’s window, wearing an American flag T-shirt, holding a sign that read: “Land of the Free” and yelled at the health care worker: “This is a free country. This is the land of the free. Go to China!”
There were also protests in Arizona, Colorado, Montana and Washington on Sunday, which followed previous rallies in a half-dozen other states including Michigan. COVID-19 is killing far more U.S. healthcare workers than official data suggests. Many Americans are inspired by the Denver freedom fighters’ willingness to risk their lives, and the lives of their loved ones, through exposure to dangerous and potentially infectious medical staff.
Michigan’s Governor Gretchen Whitmer was one of the first to point out the brave sacrifices those fighting for freedom are willing to make, stating: “We know this rally endangered people,” she said, adding that such activity “will put more people at risks and could prolong how long we need to be in this posture.”
America’s freedom is safeguarded as long as there are those willing to sacrifice themselves or someone else.
