PORTLAND, OR — Professors at Woke University, in Portland Oregon, have updated their history curriculum pertaining to World War II which took place from September 1, 1939 – September 2, 1945.
“Most of the combat was confined to Europe, East Asia, and islands in the Pacific Ocean.” said Professor Ian Tenyurd. “While there was also fighting in places as far away as Madagascar and the Aleutian Islands, calling it a ‘World War’ perpetuates a myth that was spread only by Washington, DC.
Professor Tenyurd also added: “While World War II was the deadliest military conflict in history, with an estimated total of 70–85 million people killed, this represented only about 3% of the 1940 world population. By any measure, geographical or casualty, this so-called ‘World War’ was a mostly peaceful conflict.”
